Sailing on the Bay

This was one terrific day on the San Francisco Bay. Our captain, Michael, had advertised on craigslist
that he needed a crew for his boat. We applied - and got the job. This was just perfect!

Me - obviously. I should've put a smile on my face, but at this very moment strong winds
caught the boat. The next moment you would see me frantically reefing the main sail.

A completely new view on San Francisco. The bridge is the Bay Bridge, leading to Oakland. Behind
the bridge on the right you can see the Coit Tower, the needle-shaped building slightly right from the
center is the Panamerica Building. Pretty, huh?

Below the Bay bridge, Priscilla on the left, Michael on the right. He was trying to hide - gotcha!

Huge cranes in the port of Oakland which seems to surpass the harbour of San Francisco.
Let me see if I can find any size comparison... hmmm... can you spot the little brownish boxes
in the lower left corner? Those are 20-foot-containers. Now imagine how huge the cranes are.

Priscilla's turn to steer the boat. She's been on bigger boats, racing, before.

One more look at San Francisco - time to go home.
What can I say - this was one terrific day out! We'll definitely go again!
