The Bay Bridge

This is the Bay Bridge, leading from San Francisco to Oakland as seen from the Coit Tower.
In front of the bridge you can see Pier 1 on Embarcadero Street.

And, yes, this is the bridge that collapsed during the Loma Prieta earthquake
on October 17, 1989
