Christmas Market in Hamburg

Christmas time again. It is nice to be home for the Holidays and to meet up with friends and family.
Customary as it has become I gathered with friends to visit the beautiful Christmas Market in my
home town Hamburg. Enjoy the pictures and imagine freezing weather, beautiful music
and the taste of hot spicy wine.

Two beautiful Angels in a parade on the main street "Mönckebergstrasse" (named after a former mayor of Hamburg).

The entrance to the Christmas Market. In the background you can see part of the city hall of Hamburg.

Happy gathering in a tent where hot, spicy wine by the name of "Glühwein" (glowing wine) is being served.
Here is one of many tasty recipes.

The entrance to the Toy Alley with a passing Toy Train above.

A cozy light, lamp and candle store in the market.

Santa Clause riding his sleigh over the Christmas Market.

A Lady decorating and selling Mistletoe.

A beautifully bright, almost glowing Jewelry Store.
This won't be my last visit to the Christmas Market this Year - It's just too beautiful there.
