You might not know what this party is about, so here it
is: San Francisco's radio station KFOG
(on frequency 104.5, or via Internet radio) is hosting a huge party every
year. This year there
were about 350,000 visitors watching a great show on the stage and a fantastic
firework
while tasting all the different kinds of food and drinks that were served.
We had a blast.

Just the beginning of the party... Here we have Erin, Patrick,
Mark and Budi, later that night
more friends joined. As usual I am the one taking pictures.
What they are holding there, by the way, are Margaritas. Yummy :).

Holy smokes! Just
walk through that cloud and every dog will be your friend ;).

Rushing in for drinks ;)

These guys certainly had fun (and probably one or two Southern
Comforts too many).
Just a quick shot from the hip - I really don't like to point my camera at
people.

Everybody's gathering under the Bay Bridge, waiting for
the firework to start.

Mara and Mark happily dancing away...

The firework - finally. Of course it's kinda impossible
to capture the atmosphere on a photo,
but this is not as bad as I thought.

And another one. The other pictures did not work out - I
should've brought a tripod.

After the party our group was reduced to the core group
again. The last train going south from
the city left at 11:59 p.m., so we had some time to kill. What better to do
than go for a drink.
As you can imagine, every bar around pier 26 was completely packed, so we
had to walk quite
a bit to find seating. Hey, they even served free cake, as we were the hundredth
customer of
our waiter.
